Client Spotlight: Criminal Records ATL
In honor of the upcoming Record Store Day this Saturday, April 18, we wanted to spotlight one of our Atlanta clients, Criminal Records, a local record shop in Little 5 Points.
Criminal Records is a beloved shop in Atlanta that carries a large and diverse selection of music on many different formats, including vinyl, compact discs, cassettes, DVD’s/Blu Rays, comic books, and more! It has been a go-to place for local music and arts lovers for the past 25 years and also hosts in-store performances for musicians that are passing through Atlanta.
Since artists typically go on tour when they put out a new album, Criminal will host an in-store performance prior to the band’s Atlanta show later that night. Whenever these in-store performances occur, the fine people at Criminal create customized tickets to get printed before each performance. They then do a promotion offering a ticket to anyone who purchases the artist’s album in the store. It’s a great way to get people to buy the album and see the artist perform live in a wonderfully intimate setting!
