Hard Tickets In A Digital Age: Event Security

Hard Tickets

In a world where everything has gone digital, using hard tickets can seem like an almost archaic notion for an event. However, hard tickets can actually be much more secure than digital ones when using the right ticket printing company.

It’s much more difficult to duplicate hard tickets that come with security features than it is with print-at-home tickets or digital tickets. This is especially true if you do not have the means to be able to scan every ticket as people enter your event. With print-at-home or digital tickets, guests can email their ticket to multiple friends, enabling people to enter an event without actually paying. When a hard ticket is sold, it cannot be emailed or shared.

Each ticket from TA Ticket Printing has these built-in security elements:

  • UV Visible only ink
  • Hidden Ink only visible when rubbed with a coin
  • Hologram stamp on back of ticket or Foil Strips on front
  • Serial Numbers on both the back of the ticket body and back of the stub
  • Barcode (optional)
  • Sequential Numbering on both the front of the ticket body and front of the stub
  • Perforated stub
  • Tamper-proof design

The easiest, most inexpensive way to ensure each ticket is used only once is to tear the stub off the ticket and let the patron keep the other half of the ticket. This way, you are not relying on a digital scanner which can often malfunction during an event.

While digital tickets may be the way of the future, hard tickets are certainly a trusted event security measure that will stand the test of time. Customize your own hard tickets at TA Ticket Printing today!
