There are many easy ways to make a movie night look and feel like guests are really at the movies, and we’ve rounded up a few tips below!
Tips & Tricks:
- Roll out a red carpet down the aisle of the room to make guests feel like they are celebrity royalty
- While chairs are a more traditional way to seat guests at a movie night, consider laying out blankets and pillows, or even bean bags for a more fun and comfy experience!
- Use a projector to display the movie
- Place classic movie posters on the wall to help set the scene
- Send out invitations to guests using custom printed tickets that guests can then use to enter the event
- Or use classic red admission tickets for guest entry, or even classic red raffle tickets to help keep count of the number of guests who arrive
Have a popcorn bar!
- Buy or rent a popcorn maker to make traditional old-fashioned popcorn
- Get special popcorn bags for people to put their popcorn in
- Have assorted candies like M&M’s, Reeses Pieces, Marshmallows, and Skittles to mix with popcorn
With any of these tips incorporated into your event, you can be sure your old school movie night will be one for the books!
