Shipping Info 101: When can I expect my order?
One of the most common questions we receive from our customers here at TA Ticket Printing and Eventwristbands.com is, “When can I expect my order?” – in all its various forms. Therefore, being that it is one of most popular questions, it only seemed fitting to write up a lil’ blog post that gives our customers a handy break down of our shipping options.
Below is a list including some of our most frequently asked questions regarding our shipping options:
Q: When will my order be shipped?
A: This is a good question because trying to find just the right words to explain our shipping turnaround can be a little tricky. Well, our turnaround is quick for both ticket orders and wristband orders (EXCLUDING custom wristband orders & full color custom tickets), so as long as your order is placed before 2pm Eastern time we will have it processed and packed away to be picked up by Fedex or USPS that same day. When your tickets or wristbands actually arrive at your door depend on which method of shipping you select – like overnight, 2day, ground, etc.
Overnight – will arrive next BUSINESS day 2day- arrives in 2 business days (Say your order gets picked up on Monday, you can expect it Wednesday) Ground – depends on your location relative to ours (check out our map below!). USPS- 2 to 3 business days to most locations. Up to 5 for states like California (Postal Service is NOT guaranteed)
Q: I placed my order on Friday for Overnight delivery. Why didn’t my package arrive on Saturday?
A: Fedex does not consider Saturday a standard delivery day. The only service which runs on Saturdays is Fedex is Ground Home delivery UNLESS we specially designate a delivery for Saturday delivery.
Q: What exactly is “same-day shipping”?
A: Our policy is this: Any wristband or ticket order (non-custom wristbands, and ticket orders of 10,000 or less) that is placed before 2pm Eastern time (we’re located in Atlanta, Ga) will ship – meaning be picked up by Fedex/USPS – that same day. It can get kind of tricky, but just to clear things up, this doesn’t mean you’ll necessarily get your tickets the same day as we need time to process and pack your order. When you can expect the package is determined by which method of shipping you select (Fedex overnight, 2day or Ground or USPS Priority mail).
Q: When can I expect my order?
A: Depending on which method of shipping you select- for example, 2day, overnight or ground delivery- will determine when you can expect your order . The soonest we can get a package to a customer (given that Fedex offers this service in your location) is the following business day. Fedex.com has a handy service guide if you ever find yourself with any questions. And we’ve got another blog post with a quick breakdown for you guys.
Q: Can I expect my package on Saturday?
A: Yes and no. The only Fedex service that offers standard delivery on Saturday is GROUND HOME unless it has been especially designated for Saturday delivery by one of our representatives. The Postal Service DOES run on Saturdays, so you can expect a package to arrive then.
That about covers our most frequently asked questions regarding package shipment. I know it can be a bit much to take in, but trust me, it’s no big deal.
